Google has launched an interesting new service called ThinkInsights which clobbers together data from its various data collection channels and allows you to develop charts with custom fields to collate just the kind of data you’re looking for in one place. The areas of insight are a bit limited but I see this service becoming a very premium one as soon as it catches on. I wouldn’t be surprised if Google starts attaching a reasonable price tag to what has started out free, just to reel the data-hungry in.
Here’s how they summarise the offering. “Forward thinking and rooted in data, Think Insights offers you a one-stop shop for consumer trends, marketing insights and industry research.”
